Kelowna South Real Estate

Kelowna South takes its name from Father Charles Pandosy, the missionary who planted the valley's first apple tree here in 1859. Today the neighbourhood centres on the South Pandosy commercial district's restaurants, cafes, and shops, a short walk from Gyro Beach and Okanagan Lake. It's one of the more walkable, urban-feeling neighbourhoods in Kelowna without being downtown itself.

The housing stock is a genuine mix: older character homes on quiet residential streets a few blocks back from Pandosy, plus a growing number of newer condo and townhome developments aimed at buyers who want lake and downtown proximity without a downtown price tag. It's a neighbourhood in active transition, which is exactly why it's worth watching.
