Kelowna South Real Estate

Kelowna South takes its name from Father Charles Pandosy, the missionary who planted the valley's first apple tree here in 1859 — and today the neighbourhood centres on the South Pandosy commercial district's restaurants, cafes, and shops, a short walk from Gyro Beach and Okanagan Lake. It's one of the more walkable, urban-feeling neighbourhoods in Kelowna without being downtown itself.

The housing stock is a genuine mix: older character homes on quiet residential streets a few blocks back from Pandosy, plus a growing number of newer condo and townhome developments aimed at buyers who want lake and downtown proximity without a downtown price tag. It's a neighbourhood in active transition, which is exactly why it's worth watching.
